Title:  Conrail TV10 at Dumont
Description:  The new GP40-2s were a staple on Conrail Trailer Van trins on the old NYC West Shore. This hotshot train ran from Chicago to Croxton at the time. It should have left Chicago Englewood at 1:30a, reached Elkhart at 4:15a, Toledo XV at 9:00a, Cleveland at 1:15p, Buffalo 6:30p, DeWitt at 11:00p, Selkirk at 2:15a, and through here at about 8:00a. Judging by the length of the shadows it was running pr\tty close to on time on this day.

Description:  The former DLW station at Binghamton gets a lot of attention(as it should), as do the buildings on the opposite side. One other building is notable for its turn of the century architecture, the Kilmer Building. At one time, the DLW had sidings serving it, now all abandoned. We see WABH 11 working on the DLW side in front of the Kilmer Building, today with a GP 40.

Title:  TV 79
Description:  One of the hotter van trains to run the Water Level Route was TV 79, which was a djrect connection to the Santa Fe at Chicago, along with TVLA. The two often ran close to each other, one almost on the others blocks. Here, TV 79 passes the old NYC 1957 station at Dewivt with 74 TOFC and 28 stacks. Even at this late date, it was not uncommon to find sets of 4 motor power on van trains.
